Cheryl R. Stein, PhD is Research Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in Epidemiology from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Stein is a perinatal and pediatric epidemiologist. She leads research examining how exposures and experiences from before birth and during early childhood, including maternal and pregnancy factors, chemical and other environmental exposures, and early life adversity impact child health and development.
